Unser Bezirk befindet sich im Umbruch. Die Sommer werden immer heißer und machen das Leben anstrengender. Die vielen Großbaustellen belasten uns alle gewaltig. Auch die U5-Baustelle zeigt deutlich: Da verändert sich gerade viel im 9. Bezirk. Bei dieser Wahl entscheidet sich, ob die SPÖ all das, was jetzt aufgegraben wird, für die nächsten 30 Jahre zubetoniert wird oder ob wir ordentlich begrünen, Bäume pflanzen und ruhige, lebenswerte Grätzl schaffen. Andere Grünregierte Bezirke machen heute schon vor, was geht. Das entscheidest du JETZT.

SO KANNST DU WÄHLEN:

  1. Wahlberechtigung prüfen:
    Als EU-Bürger:in musst du mindestens 16 Jahre alt sein und deinen Hauptwohnsitz in Wien haben. Außerdem darfst du in deinem Herkunftsland nicht vom Wahlrecht ausgeschlossen sein.
  2. Wahlkarte für Briefwahl beantragen (optional):
    Wenn du am Wahltag nicht persönlich im Wahllokal sein kannst, kannst du hier bis zum 23. April eine Wahlkarte beantragen. Diese ermöglicht dir die Briefwahl oder die Stimmabgabe in einem anderen Wahllokal.
  3. Finde dein Wahllokal:
    Rund drei Wochen vor der Wahl erhältst du eine Wahlinformation per Post mit der Adresse deines zuständigen Wahllokals.
  4. Am Wahltag wählen gehen:
    Gehe am 27. April in dein Wahllokal. Bring einen gültigen Lichtbildausweis (z. B. Reisepass oder Personalausweis) mit und wähl die Grünen, für einen lebenswerten & lebendigen Alsergrund.
  5. Briefwahl (optional):
    Falls du eine Wahlkarte beantragt hast, kannst du deine Stimme auch per Brief oder in einem anderen Wahllokal abgeben. Fülle die Unterlagen aus und sende sie rechtzeitig zurück oder gib sie persönlich in einem beliebigen Wahllokal ab.

THEN YOU CAN VOTE IN THE district elections.

Our district is in a state of upheaval. The summers are getting hotter and hotter, making life more strenuous. The many major construction sites are putting a huge strain on us all. The U5 underground railway construction site also clearly shows that a lot is changing in the 9th district. This election will decide whether the SPÖ will cover everything that is now being dug up with concrete for the next 30 years or whether we will green it up properly, plant trees and create quiet, liveable neighbourhoods. Other green districts are already showing us what is possible. You decide NOW.

  1. Check your eligibility to vote:
    As an EU citizen, you must be at least 16 years old and have your main place of residence registered in Vienna. In addition, you must not be excluded from the right to vote in your country of origin.
  2. Apply for postal voting (optional):
    If you cannot be at the polling station in person on election day, you can apply for postal voting here until 23 April (Note: German Website). This allows you to vote by post or cast your vote at any other polling station.
  3. Find your polling station:
    Around three weeks before the election, you will receive voting information by post with the address of your local polling station.
  4. Vote on election day:
    Go to your polling station on the 27th April. Bring a valid photo ID (e.g. passport or identity card) and vote for the Greens, for a liveable and vibrant Alsergrund.
  5. Postal voting (optional):
    If you have applied for a polling card, you can also cast your vote by post or at any other polling station. Complete the documents and send them back in time or hand them in at any polling station.
